We just got 2 new trikes.....a Catrike Road and a Greenspeed. We're in close-in NE Portland.

just lookin' in this section of the message board and i realized i hadn't updated my status to a catrike (expedition) owner from my initial posting as
a potential owner, a few months ago
so i'm nearly always ready t' roll and am eager t' meet other tricyclists in the area and btw: i ran into a 700 owner--downtown, yesterday--from the woodstock area and alerted him to this board. his name's 'sam', and we should be hearing from him, soon let's get together and ride, eric cte 874 |

I am actually a bit south of Portland myself, although not quite as far as you. Welcome to the area and welcome to Catriking! We have a great shop in Portland if you should need one...Coventry Cycle Works. Great people, in downtown PDX so look them up if you need anything (Usual disclaimers...I have no interest in the business, just a satisfied customer of theirs!) |

I usually stay at the Crown Plaza next to Sucker Lake when I come into town to go to the VA Hosp. I will probably be popping back into town again this late
Spring/Summer. Would your health be up to playing tour guide if I drag the Cat in with me?

I will have to wait and see on the Triking aspect, although I will be working hard to get there so hopefully..yes. As for general tour guide duties other than triking...let me know when you are coming and we can probably work around my work schedule. Do you usually just come to go to the VA or have you been around Portland sightseeing before? I think the Crowne Plaza you are referring to is the one right off of I-5 near Lake Oswego (Trader Joes etc right there)? |
