Well I do not know if you know bicycle math (n + 1 = n). My wife said if I sold one of my bicycles I could look at a trike. I put my RANS Rocket on the market at a local bicycle store. So we went to look at a trike. While going I got it in my head that we should celebrate our 25th anniversary with his and her trikes (both Expedition and Villager come in silver). We let her try a Pocket and she did not like the recline. She has had a nice road bike in our early years, maybe 5 miles. A Norco woman's special bike (20 in by 25 in), maybe 5 miles. A RANS Fusion crank forward, maybe 20 miles. And the bicycle store we purchased had the trikes hanging from the beams in the ceiling. As I was walking around the store I saw a Villager c/w triple chain ring. So we asked it be brought down, w/o a test ride she says "lets get one each". This was after sitting on it, she really like the upright position and felt that this was the ONE. So we asked for them to shorten the boom a little bit, and came back a few days later to pick up her new Cat. She very rarely say yes when asked if she wanted to go on a ride. On Canada day some friends asked if we wanted to ride to a celebration party. She said yes, so we went down a very busy roadway (as a CanBike instructor I know road position) and I kept her going straight and safe. Some idiot in a pickup truck pulling a full load pulled some stunting hitting brakes and making load shift in dangerous part of road. She was not phased, so I thought then that the Villager was the right purchase (finally). She did not put on 100's of miles but did ride it more than all the other bicycles that I have chosen for her over the first 25yrs.

PS if you are going to buy the Villager, I would suggest to get it with the triple chain ring boom.
