Hey Jim, I've been using Garmin Connect since they dropped Motion Based, but I think they could have done a little better job. It's fun though, and there is a lot of info available.

I use a Tanita body fat scale now for several years. Very reliable. Funny how the new machine doesn't even give the option to see at least some of the info. on a native screen.

Garmin stated at one point that your account details would be transferred including History to Garmin Connect. How longthis takes and whether it depends on your subscription I do not know

I have a Tanita Iron Man. So, I have the data. The idea of not having to key it in is intriguing. With there software & a computer [of course], you can see the BC-1000's output. They "give" you a USB ANT stick. Technology is interesting. --jim

The larger [track points] are being migrated last. I have many long rides. Although of my remaining 145, I have rides under 30 miles. I just have not seen a new file migrated in the last month. I do not think subscription enters the picture. If it did, my file should have long ago been migrated. Long-time premium member. Paid ahead 2 years when I joined. I've been following and reporting on BROL since this process began. Just my knowledge of what is happening...

I keep careful logs of all the changes my body goes through, or not, as I reach my weight and body fat goals. It sure would be neat to see other changes, too!

I think seeing the correlation in GC will be interesting and informative. You will be able to fine-tune training for maximum calorie burn and better manage hydration. Anyone for an Tanita Ironman BC554?
