Gen Van Fleet State Trail UPDATE 20 Nov'09
Four bridges have been repaired and repaved.
We expect the trail to reopen going North from Green Pond Rd very early next week. We understand the northern most end will be closed for replacement of that real bad northern most bridge. Will post updates as available.
Starting on or about Monday, September 21, repairs will start.
Trail will be closed between Poyner Rd and Green Pond Rd (mile post 8.5 to mp 9.5)
for repair of the bridge just South of Green Pond Rd.
Second phase, the trail North of Green Pond Rd to Bay Lake Rd will be closed for repair of the three bridges between mp 11.5 and 12.5.
Third phase will be replacement of the first bridge South of Mabel.
We will try to post latest information as we see progress.
