On my Road, the frame water bottle cage is secured with Allen screws fastened into Riv-Nuts.
I had thought they were braze-on sockets.
Now the Riv-Nut has pulled out.
They fit in the hole and don't move until I screw in the Allen screws a little way.
Thus the water bottle cage cannot be secured.
Is there anything I can do to re-insert the original Riv-Nut? Will I have to install larger Riv-Nuts and corresponding screws? I'd like to avoid that option if I could.
Fortunately I have two water bottle cages attached to the lateral bars under the seat.
