I took a moment to send a message to LeeWakefield, the university student who built the red coroplast
velomobile in the site noted above, suggesting that there might be interest from Catrike Riders, and that
he look at this thread and comment according to his present plans if he wished.

My only thought on such a kit would be that it should allow riding in summer with the front unfaired
for cooling, or at most, to leave in place a small fairing such as Fasttour's beautiful front fairing, either
opaque or clear.

I like having the XT fairing in place very much, but for my height and foot size, like many, it compromises
line of sight. I almost think that the upper contour of fairings for recumbents might dip down instead of run
in a smooth curve, as do all I know of. This could be challenging to make, and it would allow more wind in face,
but I, personally, like to see what's up the road as best I can. Riders even taller than me, like Elso, apparently
have to look through their XT fairings rather than over them, so the problem does exist on a significant scale.
