Hey Mark,
The main section of the American River bike trail is about 31 miles (62 up and back). The section in the video is an offshoot which runs up around the Folsom area, and I'd guess it's about a 15 mile or so loop. Here's a map of the main trail:

The Folsom section has a few breaks in it now at which point you're forced to ride a few sections of street, but by the end of this year they're supposed to have finished a bridge which will "fill the gaps" and complete the trail.
