I think he has a problem leaving Green Cove Springs on highway 16 as he is going to have to cross the St. Johns River on a two lane, 55 mph bridge that has no shoulder, or extra room at all. I am going to ride his route from Lake City to St. Augustine and then give him my thoughts. Most of his route will be picturesqe and enjoyable, but the are a couple of spots I think he should know about. Thanks for the info. David

Thanks Mike for posting. I just wanted to clarify that, Mark and Josh spoke with Ed, not me. Ed called us a week ago in order to become a Catrike dealer and we all got excited since he is one of the old timers in this business. So when Josh called Mark to tell him that Mr.Giraldo needed a new shifter, Mark suggested that Fool's Crow would be the best option to fix Mr.Giraldo's shifter. So Josh called Ed, and Ed told Josh that he could do the repair and thought he had the shifter, but wasn't sure. So Mark called Ed and offered to overnight a shifter. Ed told him that there was no need to overnight because he indded had one. So Mark agreed that he would send him any parts that he had used on Mr. Giraldo's trike after the repair was done. We will also reimburse Ed's time on Mr.Giraldo's trike. We had also sent Josh a new Calibro at no cost, out of courtesy, to replace the one he had sent to Mr. Giraldo. So hopefully Mr. Giraldo will finish his trip soon now and achieve all his goals and dreams. Paulo Camasmie Big Cat HPV, LLC

David, Glad you could ride with Rafael and provide him a bridge escort. I know you were concerned about this area. I talked to him as you were riding with him after sending him a voice mail with the sound of the ocean waves as I ate my lunch at the eastern end of route 90. Unfortunately patients kept me busy. I thought all illness was to end over the weekend so I could ride with him, but no luck.
Mike.
