I don't know if roll down testing will show much. I think the machine would have to be up to speed for a while to really prove its worth. Just like a full streamliner needs some serious speed to become really effective, this tail faring will need a certain amount of speed to become effective. Don't know if a 1/4 mile hill will allow enough speed on the roll down to tell much.

My opinion is that with the tail box and wheel discs the average speed over a 25 mile ride "might" go up 3 to 4 mph. I would settle for only 2 to 3 and be happy. But then I am not a strong rider, so anything will help.

When Jeff puts the hammer down he leaves me in the dust. With the tail faring on he leaves me just a little faster. Can't wait to slow down his leaving me.
